Description
GUESS WHO DECIDED TO BE USEFULL
So I finally made an open species, well it's not the one I wanted to make but it's still on the todo list.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Name :Gamya
Habitat : The forests and undergrounds of Zylera
Diet: Herbivore
Temperament: Skittish, calm if handled gently
Size: around the size of a football
weight: again, imagine a football made with the materials used in bean bags
The parts of a Gamya:
Sacks in general:They're like jelly and are very squishy :>
Multipurpose Sack: It's the first one closest to the front. It's filled with sweet liquids made from left over food. If removed, it will take time to grow back.
Egg/Life Jelly Sack: It's the sack where eggs or life jelly is contained. When mating, the female will pierce the male's LJ sack and transfer the Jelly to her sack. This is how they fertilize eggs. When it's not mating season the Life Jelly can be used as medicine because it's healing properties and the eggs can be consumed as sweets. No need to worry for a shortage in the Gamya population, 8/10 eggs survive.
*Not all green, it was just the only color I had available at the time
Antennas: Mainly used for hearing, they're pretty smol.
Mouth(& feelers): They have these little squishy nubs on top of their mouths, it's kinda like a mustache. If there's food that's to difficult to stick in one spot(ex: a berry or a nut) the Gamya can use their feelers as tiny hands and push it towards their mouth, but it doesn't work that well for younger ones. Always remember: If you see a Gamya having trouble eating, please help the little guy out.
Feet: They don't have any.
Fluff: They have a lot of it.
Use:
As you can see by the doodles in the bottom right, the Multipurpose sack can be used as many things. If you can't read my handwriting, you can read them down here.
The sack is very warm and can be used as a hot bag
sack+stretch= A warm scarf
sack+enlarge= some sort of Bean bag/water bed hybrid
sack+ice= a juice bag (it kinda taste like those Aloe Vera juices they sell is some groceries)(The straw is optional, but recommended)
AND MANY MORE
Other things:
Around the bottom left, you can see a size comparison between a human, gamya, and masqually. You may ask "what the heck is a Masqually?" well Masquallies are the dominant species of Zylera. That's all I'll say for now :^)
**Not all masquallies are the same, this guy was just an example.
The bottom left shows a whole bunch of them screaming. well. that's what they do. scream. If their scared, they scream. If they're happy, they scream. If it's mating season, that's their mating call. They scream. It sounds like this www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHc288…

This is an Open Species so you can make one yourself if you want, though you'll have to ask permission first.
